Hey Young Dems!

Thanks again to Cecile Newcomb and John Bush for joining us last night! Everyone enjoyed the discussion and hearing about their ideas. Next week will conclude out speaker series with Krisha Chachra and Frank Lau.

Get to the HQ at 2:30 to take part in the International Day of Climate Action to tell world leaders that the CO2 levels must be lowered to 350 ppm. We’ll be taking a photo with 350 fingers so we need at least 35 people!!

There are fewer than two weeks left– no more excuses. Get out and talk to the voters!

- Saturday phonebanking 11-2:30 (before Deeds/Warner!)

- Saturday canvassing 3:30-6 (after Deeds/Warner!)

- Sunday canvassing 12-4

There is usually someone in the office and always something to do so if you would like to volunteer another time, email me or simply stop by the MCDC HQ in Downtown– 208 N. Main St. **Don’t forget about the competition! Whoever makes the most phone calls and whoever knocks on the most doors will receive prizes!**

Help out with the Great Debate! If you have any relevant articles or bits of information, email those to Nicole Faut at nicole89@vt.edu. We’ll be having a research/preparation session this week– email Nicole if you would like to help! And of course don’t miss the Great Debate! This showdown with the College Republicans will be Monday at 7:30 in Graduate Life Center auditorium. This is a HUGE venue– bring everyone you know!!
