Do you think you have opinions about environmental/energy issues, education, transportation, or reproductive rights?
Chances are…………………..you do, and that’s all you need to participate in the Great Debate!
As a veteran debater and public speaker, I know how hard and scary it can be to even think about getting up in front of people and arguing your point of view—especially when points of view are as different and heated as the ideologies between Democrats and Republicans. But, I can honestly tell you that it’s really not that bad. In fact, I’m positive if you join our team, you will find debating to be one of the most fun things you can do! 
This is your chance to shine, to uphold the values of our party in light of this huge election, and to set the record straight that we cannot have McDonnell as Governor.
I will help you research, coach you in public speaking, and support you through the nervousness I know comes with committing to something like this. And don’t forget, the whole club will also be at your disposal for more support, even up to the point when they cheer you on from the audience. So, don’t be shy, I know you can do it.
